Rosebery Cup
The conception of the West Lothian Bowling Association took place in the Star and Garter Hotel when
the offer of a Challenge Trophy from Lord Rosebery was accepted and inaugurated in 1882. This was
the origin of the Rosebery Cup which is still played for today amongst the Association's member clubs
and is regarded as the Association's premier trophy.
Bathgate Bowling Club has won the Rosebery Cup in the following years
1882, 1886, 1889, 1894, 1934, 1997, 2002, 2003, 2003, 2004,
